We are visiting New York for a couple of days and wanted some great Turkish food. We found Akdeniz on Yelp and ordered. It was fabulous. We ordered the Sultan's Delight, a Shephard's salad, Lebhneh, Baba, Hummus and Rice pudding. All were amazing- the Lebneh and the Sultan's Delight were the best we have ever had! A Mediterranean restaurant with nice decor and service. Highlights were the Falafels and Rice Pudding. The Zucchini cake was okay the seasoning was not my favorite. The Lamb shank was also a bit dry for my liking. read more.
