This was the best brunch we had our whole time in NYC! We just happened to find this spot on Yelp for an early brunch and decided to check it out. We got the last table in their cute outdoor dining area, so I would definitely suggest getting there on the early side if you want to sit outside. I ordered an iced chai latte and the nutella french toast. Nutella is one of my weaknesses, so this was the perfect breakfast... View all feedback.
What kevin torres doesn't like about Banter:
Decent place for healthy brunch option, but I think it is overpriced. The food was decently good. I recommend their pato punch drink and unfortunately was charged full price for the sweet potato fries which I would definitely recommend to order.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.

5/5 for coffee drinks; 3.5/5 for foodWe had an iced coffee, golden latte, and cappuccino. Very beautiful coffee art for the hot drinks! Especially the golden latte.Food was okay. Croissant was cold and had to be reheated. Salmon toast and Big breakfast were good but kind of expensive and not really memorable, nothing wrong with them either though
Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Experience 3/5This cute brunch spot does not take reservations so my party of 4 waited for around 20 minutes on a very rainy Saturday at around 11 am. There was limited indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating had a covering, but the walls were open to the elements.I ordered the mushroom wrap. The wrap did not have much mushroom and the more I ate it, the less I seemed to like it. I was not sure why, but the flavor started to taste off. The fries that came with it were typical and a little less crispy than I would like. The portion sizes are pretty small for price of the food.Because it was pouring out, while most of the rain stayed off of us, the sides of the outdoor seating collected water and threatened to spill over onto the benches that were connected to it. The waiters were very quick to clear our table to imply that they would like us to leave even though we were there for less than an hour.
A cool and friendly breakfast joint serving delicious food (we were seeking a proper NYC breakfast) situated in the village. It’s easy and provides everything you want to start the day with friends and or family. Fills up quickly so get there from 8am onwards. Pickled onions in your bacon roll? Yes and this is the place.
I loved Banter! My falafel bowl was absolutely delicious!Things were a little pricey, and there was limited options, but I really enjoyed the bowl I got. There are no reservations and only a few tables so be prepared to wait! Great option for Sunday brunch.
