It was a beautiful day in the west village, with a cool late july breeze providing respite from the humidity of the previous week. Four friends gathered for tea at an outdoor table, surrounded by tropical plants native to New York. Service wasn't good very slow. Waiter said he'd comp a side; didn't. There was a cold draft in the inside space, a bit annoying. Sound system kept crackling, was weird. Food wasn't very good; my steak was overcooked (ordered medium rare, came out near well! . Expensive and just didn't seem like a good value.
