"I have loved Periyali for a long time. The octopus is always special, tho I also love their chicken soup. The lamb chops are fabulous. It is pretty and subdued inside. I don't like Greek wines, but they had an excellent California cabernet by the glass. I'd say great for a special occasion, birthday or anniversary, or just when you want a solid good meal"

"I was really hopeful for another restaurant that could compete with Sadelle’s but unfortunately this isn’t it. The service was pretty bad- waiting for too long in between courses and even when being served one course amongst the different people at the table. Luckily the manager was open to our thoughts and comped several dishes- I hope it improves. The sourdough bread is great though!"

"The food was good although we felt a bit expensive for what it was. The tuna tostadas were old. (To be fair, we forgot to tell the waiter because we were in midst of wonderful family reunion. We ordered 4… so we knew it was the whole batch. The pork birria was really good and the street corn amazing. Waiter was fun and nice."
