This place is AMAZING!!! The Pull Rotisserie Chicken Over Rice is so flavorful and tasty! Love the Organic Quinoa Salad this is my new favorite spot!!!
Delicious, whole chicken combo was great, mashed potatoes are divine, ratatouille very good!
Cookies are usually fresh baked these were not fresh

"One of those places that actually lives up to the hype. The food is delicious and decadent. The service is professional and attentive, but easygoing. IMHO this is the best burger in NYC and the French dip might even be better. Prime rib was good, but a bit expensive for what you get. Sides are all A+, best fries ever."

"Strongly recommended by my friend, we came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. Enjoyed very much the delicious, fresh and beautiful set of Omakase. We also had daikon and hijiki salad. The service was excellent and my friend was extremely happy. Aperfect dinner for a special occasion. Definitely recommended!"

"I LOVED this restaurant!! The food was delicious!! I had the village salad which was like a yummy greek salad and the lamb shank with orzo. It was just WONDERFUL!! The people that work there are just lovely!! I would recommend this restaurant in a minute!!"

"Thought I found the best spot close to my job for lunch. I even told everyone at my job about this place (Madison and 39th St location). Long story short I received spoiled seafood twice within a 6 week span. The first time I got seared fish that was spoiled. I didn't complain then as I do not like to complain and I just hoped it was a one off incident. Fast forward to this evening, I got spoiled shrimp. I called the restaurant and a Hispanic guy answered then hung up on me when I tried to explain that the shrimps in my meal was spoiled. I called back several times and no answer. I really hate to give 2 stars but at this moment if it was any other store I would probably give 1 star"

"First time here and already planning the next trip back. These tacos were outstanding. I got both chicken pork the pork stole the show for me but the chicken was also good. Toppings are great too, and you can't beat the quality for the price!"

"Just the delightful experience we’ve always come to expect from a Mark Strausman restaurant. We were greeted like royalty and treated the same way by all of the professional staff we encountered including a lovely table visit from Mr. Strausman. The sourdough and the onion breads were otherworldly. My guest and I split our salad and entrees due to dietary restrictions which were kindly accommodated. The arugula/goat cheese/beet salad fresh and sublime. The risotto with the most tender scallops and what I guess was a hint of Pernod finished with roasted garlic was a winner. We ended the meal with the Iced cream/coffee/liquor treat and an amazing strawberry rhubarb crumble with vanilla iced cream. Our veteran waiter Roy is in a league of his own giving dutiful, unobtrusive service with his inimitable Victorian charm. It doesn’t get any better."
