not many vegetarian options. when I made the reservation, OpenTable users had said they were in a position to make substitutions. the employee who helped us with our submissions, however, has informed us substitutions, cannot be made. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about District Tap House:
Accommodated us arriving early for a Saturday night reservation, but was shocked with how cold the restaurant was for a November evening. I never saw a thermostat, but it felt like 60 degrees. Granted, it was an unseasonably warm day, but by the evening, the temperature had dropped considerably, and their AC was blowing full blast making it feel like a refrigerator and it didn’t let up during the entire meal. We only visited late after our show for a drink one evening and seemed like a nice spot. Good drinks selection and good service.

"Lovely and delicious dinner, as always. Outstanding service by Mac! Always enjoy the octopus and the saganaki to start. The olive bread, homemade and fresh, is a must have. Really enjoyed the scallops special and the red snapper special! Both dishes prepared and presented beautifully. Our friend loved her moussaka. "Just the delightful experience we’ve always come to expect from a Mark Strausman restaurant. We were greeted like royalty and treated the same way by all of the professional staff we encountered including a lovely table visit from Mr. Strausman. The sourdough and the onion breads were otherworldly. My guest and I split our salad and entrees due to dietary restrictions which were kindly accommodated. The arugula/goat cheese/beet salad fresh and sublime. The risotto with the most tender scallops and what I guess was a hint of Pernod finished with roasted garlic was a winner. We ended the meal with the Iced cream/coffee/liquor treat and an amazing strawberry rhubarb crumble with vanilla iced cream. Our veteran waiter Roy is in a league of his own giving dutiful, unobtrusive service with his inimitable Victorian charm. It doesn’t get any better."
