enjoy always a good meal in the el cartel. good energy and great selection of food, fresh, creativity and presentation! the arepitas w chicharrón are a must (they can do a vegan option; I tried w guac wow! and the empanadas too. tried the pollo buenaventura tonight and loved it! seafood over a chicken breast. delicious! I asked for a reservation with some days in advance and they gave us a table at the back, practically next to the restroom. They had other empty tables at better views without people but they were “reserved”. We left and the “reserved” tables were still empty. I went to el Cartel on Jul 8th 2023 and it is closed/out of business. Open Table needs to update in the app to avoid reservations
