El Rio Grande has a good vibe and a fine menu, but the actual food is lackluster: cardboard tortilla chips, salsa with an aftertaste, nachos that must've been soggy even before they hit the table, a chicken taco set that wasn't worth it, and a chorizo dish that didn't rise to the occasion.
