What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Kosaka:
Very expensive for what it is. Good quality food, but very disappointed in the number of services, and being rushed out in 80 minutes in the context of a 250$ Omakase. We understood at the end why the server was trying to push the extras. A below par Michelin star, to say the least. View all feedback. What jeffreyh likes about Kosaka:
The quality and variety of the fish were exceptional, and our dedicated chef was a delight. The sake selection was fantastic. We thought the price was entirely justified, and the experience was just what we wanted. View all feedback.

I went to Kosaka for the third time this week and it is still so amazingProbably the third-best sushi in New York (after Masa and Nakazawa).
One of the better sushi restaurants I've eaten at in my lifeI have gotten the Omakase - 15 pieces both times I've goneIt is $150 and worth it.
What a treat! After an OpenTable snafu one evening and a reservation not working out, we came back on Mother's Day and snagged a table at prime time thanks

The sushi at this restaurant is exceptionally tasty, and the service is attentive and welcoming.
It's the best I can't describe in words. I was presented with a happy time.
The omakase was thoroughly mediocre, as was the ambiance and service. Given the high price, we expected much more. Perhaps they had an off night.
