What Felice Petrone likes about La Masseria:
I got the short rib pasta and it was good, but nothing to write home about. I came about 45 mins before closing and service was pretty good but felt rushed. If you want people out by closing you should have a cut off time for your seating. I was expecting more considering the price point, but for a one time experience it wasn't bad. View all feedback.
What EmilyD doesn't like about La Masseria:
The service was excellent and the ambience was pleasant (though really loud as the pre theater crowd packed in). Food uneven the green beans, tomato and goat cheese salad was very good, the bolognese was excellent, the white clam sauce was only so so because the garlic was burnt. Usually have a good time here. This time not so much. Sat next to hookah smoke while eating. Service was slow.
I had no idea this was a hookah bar. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time. My bf left because of the smoke. Food was good though
