We had the margherita pizza for an appetizer. It was excellent; crust was just right. I didn't hvae the caesar but the other diners enjoyed it even though the dressing looked lighter than the traditional caesar dressing; perhaps more sour cream than egg based? I am not sure. What Chris doesn't like about Numero 28 Pizzeria - West Village:
Food good BUT we were a family of 4 and my sons pizza was served 20 mins before the rest of us meaning he had finished before we started which was just wrong! Also not sure why 20 percent service charge included for ‘large party of 4’ Finally this is a cash only restaurant and ATM is in the restrooms!! View all feedback.
Great service. great food. good place for a casual dinner that doesn't cost poor and a bite. real italians lead this place. paccheri genovese was as good as I did in italia. my friends got pizza and were happy. Don't just forget cash!
I would have given it more stars but it was SO Hot in there, the AC just wasn't doing it. The food was very good, service was good to start but kinda fell apart towards the end
Very nice food and service, the owner is very friendly and pizza is very good.
Pasta was moderate, pizza was good. the service was okay. They didn't know it was cash only in advance, but they have a cash machine on site.
I prefer to use credit cards. I don’t like the cash only.
