What User likes about Rustic Root:
Friendly atmosphere, small dining room, delicious burger and salad. Felt super fancy and didn't pay a whole lot to do it! They were very sweet with my mother, explaining their cocktails and menu. While we were there for lunch, there was a table of 20 celebrating a birthday--clearly a favorite of many! View all feedback.

We read in Newsday that Rustic Root was a 'sister ' restaurant to Blackbird in Wantagh. Now we love Blackbird so we gave Root a try. Went last weds fairly late and was surprised by the number of diners still there close to closing (8:30). Tucked away in a corner in a strip mall the front is pretty nondescript.
