Ryusei is a very good mid-level Japanese restaurant. Their versatile menu can accommodate a wide variety of tastes from a simple combination plate to omakase sushi. Fish was fresh and had lots of flavor. Great choice for a Japanese meal at midtown East. View all feedback.

This was one of the most irrelevant omakase style dinner we had. First of all Omakase style is served at counter only which is right but that means having a dedicated chef and space. We had dinner practically IN THE KITCHEN, totally abandoned for almost the first hour because they were serving/prepping food for the entire restaurant.
