We have found the Independent to be the perfect Happy Hour, Preplay dinner, and postplay food and drinks. The beautiful woodwork and photos create a terrific atmosphere. Last year we went there three times in a seven day period and this year twice in a four day visit. There are lots of choices in NYC, but this is our favorite.
