Pokeworks - New York

Poke bowls are a Hawaiian rice dish. As a rule, they include fish but almost every Poke Square in NYC I have visited offers at least one vegan Poke shell. It is nice that this place has a vegan poke bowl prominently, but one that uses tofu. Pokeworks is a chain that poke shells in a fast food Way offers - that is, go to the counter, are served quickly, then take the food or sit at one of the functional tables. This industry is located directly opposite the road from the buses going to Newark Airport- so you can have a quick bite when you wait for your bus. The selection here is not huge-- but then again, it does not have to be: if you go to a place called Pokeworks, it is likely because you want a vegan Poke bowl; otherwise, why are you going to start there? Decent poke for lunch delivery, good flavors and lots of customizable options. For an easy lunch I?d order again.

I love Pokeworks! I put 4 stars because the staff in this location is not as friendly as the one in 37th street. Less food and less smiles. I wonder why? The place is clean, nice location, food is tasty and fresh.

Amazing food customer service is everything. Thanks to Olivia and her wonderful services we had a wonderful time eating here. The salmon is a must try. Thank you so much again.

I came in yesterday with a group of 10. The staff was helpful and moved a large crowd through at a brisk pace. There was a wonderful woman working the register who was very kind and friendly and left us all with a great feeling. I'm sorry I can't remember her name, but she's awesome! The food tasted great. Definitely recommend.
