We're regulars here due to the location and high quality pastries. It's the real thing- croissants, fruit tarts, beautiful and tasty cakes galore.

"Loved the boneless chicken and cajun fries so so much! So flavorful and was about to enter a food coma as soon as I stepped out! Our server and cashier, Sam, was so kind and accommodating to my friend and I! I would absolutely come back here again!"

"Friends brought us here for lunch and it did not disappoint. I wish I had a second stomach. Everything was so good, I wanted to eat more. Each dish was fresh, the meat juicy and the breading crisp. And we asked for the chicken sandwich to be spicy and ithad such a good kick to it. Definitely recommend and will be back"

"Teranga is a fancy place. I visited the restaurant with a small group of people.We really, really, really enjoyed eating there. We cannot wait to go back.Teranga is beautifully decorated with traditional fabric from West Africa, visually appealing, contemporary wall paintings, and other decorations.We went to the Harlem location close to the corner of 5th Avenue and East 110th Street. You will see a building with flag designs on it as you approach Teranga.It appears that the Teranga Harlem location is open Saturday and Sunday. The Teranga midtown location is open Monday Friday.We received great service from the staff. They are very friendly and our waiter spoke multiple languages.Each of us ordered a different dish so that we could taste multiple items from the menu. We ate the popular peanut sauce, jollof rice, black eyed peas, plantain, beef, salmon, kale salad, and more. For drinks we had thirst quenching bissap and ginger drinks. It was so nice that both drinks were NOT overly sweet. I also saw Gulder on the menu which I hear is a wonderful beer. For hot sauce lovers, they had available a real hot sauce which appears to be made of habanero.We loved all the food we ate. The dishes are affordable. I definitely recommend eating in Teranga."

"Honestly I don’t know how this place isn’t more well rated. This was my second time, my partner’s third and the food is always incredible, staff is top tier! The cocktails are great and the vibe is perfect for a date or small group meal. Get the fried shrimp dish and chicken main, you won’t be disappointed!Food: 5/5"

"I've been meaning to come here for awhile and let me tell you it was worth the wait. I had the Moroccan Cigars which was accompanied by Tahini and Harissa. It was ?. I also had the Meze of Falafel which was accompanied by a dipping sauce also. I think it was Tahini also. I had their Levantine Old Fashioned as the beverage. It was very good. The service is wonderful and so is the atmosphere. The space is small but the have outside seating in ten front and a very cute backyard which transports you to the Mediterranean. The music was very good, even though I didn't understand the lyrics. It was also at a perfect volume. It was Israeli music. The prices are very good and they have some great specials. I definitely will go back to try some of their other dishes."

"Had a great lunch here I had the Chipotle black bean burger with BBQ flavored fries and a cheesecake brownie and everything was delicious. Good customer service I called ahead and my dine in order was ready when I got there 10 minutes later. Highly recommend Happy Belly as my belly was indeed happy.?"
