Wednesday's featured lunch is delicious homemade meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Dine-in or carry-out. This small family owned restaurant closes at 1:30. What Russell Burgess doesn't like about Harvey House Shirley's Cafe:
First visit, walked in, was told the special was out for the day. Then the next customer walks in after us while we looked at the menu and the lady behind the counter asked him what he wanted, he said the special, and he got one. We were then told again, no special and that they had sandwiches only. I guess you have to know someone to get the good service here. Unfortunate because I usually love hidden gems like this...
