Best sushi restaurant in the country!!!!!! The staff are so amazing. One of the waitresses in particular will memorize your order no matter how much you have! She always gets it right. Every time I walk in, she knows my order! I give them the outmost respect! View all feedback.
What Bethanie Jarboe doesn't like about Sakura Japanese Restaurant:
Food is good, but get it at the restaurant itself and not through the website. Convenience fee, plus delivery fee, plus tip, plus the driver tips, plus small order fee, plus this and that will turn a 17$ dollar order into a 35$ or more bill. They even charge a convenience fee for pickup. Used to order from them a lot, not so much anymore. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
Totally did not know about this hidden joy in the middle of Newburgh. Thanks SAKURA for the flyer/Menu I found in my mailbox. My first order lacked nothing...baked perfectly, cooked to my perfection, menu ran over and personal service was inspiring. #Iwillback
If you love sushi, try. That's the real deal. Presentation is great and the taste is also there. Probably the best value in Evansville area for quality sushi. Go before 5 pm for the Happy Hour Sushi Prices! Good children's articles too. I know the owners Tony and Angela. You're great people!
I've eaten several times here and that was my first visit to dinner. I will say the food is always excellent the people are friendly and you get a lot of food for your money. I highly recommend it!
Everything was amazing! We used their new delivery option. This is exactly what Newburgh needed at last something other than pizza! Husband ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, which was a large amount of food; and we also ordered General Chicken and Crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious! No complaint! And we have more than enough for another meal from the left lol
Went to Sakura in Newburgh tonight with my besties Deby Bryant and Sara Sweetwood. I've been eating Sushi since our Jaoanese exchange student Yumi introduced me to it 12 years ago. The sushi we had tonight is by far the very best I have had to date. It was fresh and the presentation was out of this world. The house fried rice was head and shoulders above the rest, including Ninki. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top notch. I will definately return, and the sooner the better! Thank you Sakura we loved it!!!! Oh and the tempura, did I mention the tempura? It was succulent!!!!
