What Rich likes about The Modern Butcher:
I started shopping at the modern butcher about six months ago and I now go weekly, despite the commute. The quality of the meats (all locally sourced and the board tells you from where) and selection are unrivaled in the area. On top of that, Warren, Lisa, and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to offer advice on different cuts, cooking methods, or recipe ideas. I cannot say enough... Terrible service, I called to ask if they had pork hocks. They confirmed that they did so I drove down and when I got there the owner said that it was reserved for someone else and refused to give me any. View all feedback.
