"Went early on Saturday evening, the owner was very friendly , my partner and myself were both impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. We had pate and garlic mushrooms for starter which weee both homemade and lovely. My partner chose Steak for his main which was tender and cooked perfectly, accompanied by chips and all the trimmings. I had the lamb shank with mash and fresh vegetables which was absolutely delicious ! Looking forward to returning for the Sunday lunch sometime soon."

"Oh my word! Just lovely food tonight. Why haven’t we found you sooner? Total convert. The Saag paneer, gosh, I’d be happy to drown in that! Even the papadums seem lighter and creamier than elsewhere. Anyhow, brill and will be revisiting."

"Had the banana blossom “fish” n chips was delicious, but quite expensive. Never had banana flowers, but it had a really cool texture and the vegan tartaric acid sauce was also delicious. Only the price that makes it down, but I guess it's a chic kind of restaurant"

"I rarely ever write reviews but I have had such an easy to organise experience with this pub, I just had to. My parents celebrated their wedding anniversary today and as I live abroad, I find gifting tricky. I discovered they were going here for a meal, sent the pub an email and they organised a gift voucher. They even printed and put it on the table as a surprise for when they arrived. Fantastic customer service!"
