What Carllb1 likes about Shaw's:
Visited with the family, sat in the cafe part. Waited about 10mins as the chips were not ready. Had 4 fish and chips, great portion size, lovely chips and perfectly cooked fish with crispy batter. Staff friendly View all feedback.
What hamnd doesn't like about Shaw's:
The smell from this local chippy was really hard to resist. However the chips were dreadful. I opted to eat in after a busy morning. The coffee was nice but the chips weren't hot. They weren't crispy on the outside and definitely not fluffy on the inside. Very disappointing. View all feedback.
The only place in Staffordshire where you can get proper chips that taste like they’ve been cooked in oil and dripping.
Fish was good, chips were very greasy and as if they hadn't been strained after cooking. Portion size for the price was ok.

The dining area of the establishment is equipped with chairs / tables, and there's a counter where you can sit and have. If the weather conditions are right, you can also eat and drink outside.
