What Dacavesta likes about Coffee Beans:
I was looking for somewhere for breakfast in the centre of town and popped in before heading out on the train. The place is down some quite steep steps and isn’t as fancy as some of the cafes, etc in Jesmond and surrounding areas but the staff were friendly and the breakfast and refillable coffee was excellent value. £7.50 for a full english and coffees I really couldn’t complain. This café is located in the basement of a period building and approached down some steep external steps. The coffee was okay, but certainly not barista standard. We had two lattes which cost £3.25 each. It might be more enjoyable in the summer when there is some good outside space at the top of the steps. View all feedback.
