I'm a big fan of this pub on the quayside! It still believes in reasonably priced drinks and offers your usual hearty pub grub. An affordable night out in cosy surroundings. I tend to come here midweek or on a Friday when it tends to be relatively easy to get a seat and personal space really exists here so you never feel like you're on top of each other! Popped in here a couple of Saturdays ago as it's rare and handy for The Baltic. Service was excellent good chat from the barmaid that served our drinks and a profuse apology from the waitress that the kitchen hadn't realised a starter was in fact that and had got all the food ready at once (wasn't a drama for us but good to be advised in a polite manner nonetheless).
