It's been years since I was last here. It's had a total refurbishment and more in keeping with and catering for the local student area . Drinks slightly expensive as out of town but food was reasonable price and good choice. We didn't eat but it looked lovely. Worth a visit if passing or live local View all feedback.

Booked a table here a few weeks back for Friday just gone. Turned up and the place was shut. Got an email that morning to remind me of my booking. Said online that it was open but doors were shut and lights were off with no signs explaining why it was shut View all feedback.
Back in the late 80's/early 90's, this used to be a proper pub; always full of local regulars, especially at weekends. Now I have no idea who it's supposed...
