What MadDocNI likes about Al Masar:
Had a great visit. Pleasant staff. The foul moudamas is a great warm mezza, with mixed beans and chick peas, beautifully flavoured and coming with thin flatbreads. The mains outdid this. The chicken shish taouk is basically charcoal grilled chicken kebabs, but marinated first, coming with salad and pickles. Never had okra stew before, but it was fabulous, subtly flavoured, and nut chewy as have had okra in the past.... View all feedback.
What Uktallguy doesn't like about Al Masar:
Overpriced, awful takeaway- Chaotic collection with loads of couriers waiting and a pile of bags of food on a table getting cold as they tried to work out which was for which courier. The salad was awful soggy mess. the expensive kebab was just meat no nice trimmings. Over £20 for some bread, soggy salad inedible and a skewer of meat. never again! View all feedback.
