I came in this evening to purchase a small cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream and was surprised to learn that they only accept cash. What User doesn't like about Mortensen Dairy Ice Cream:
As a lactose intolerant person, I was glad to find a non-dairy option in the freezer. The restaurant looked nice from the outside, but I felt uncomfortable as an African American. It was surprising to find out that they no longer accept cash after 6-7 years. My children enjoyed the ice cream options, but I refuse to pay ridiculous fees just to withdraw money. Our favorite place for ice cream! Always friendly staff Generous portions for fair price. We used to go to Pralines but Mortensen's is definitely better tasting and way better value
