"So far, our best dinning experience in Banner Elk. Bison meatloaf was tender and flavorful. Roasted red pepper soup was a wonderful start. But do NOT pass on the bread pudding dessert."

"I went to Americano Steak House with visiting family Saturday for the first time. Excellent food served to perfection, fast friendly wait staff, clean and welcoming decor. This will not be my last visit to Americano, I will be a repeat customer. Steaks were grilled and seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly as ordered. Its not easy to get medium rare right when ordering. I am used to getting medium instead, but not here. Medium rare came out medium rare just as I asked a pleasant surprise. If you haven't eaten here yet you don't know what you are missing."

"Not handicap friendly, we needed a table for 5 with two handicap ladies. They seated us up stairs and would not move us to a table downstairs unless we waited 2 1/2 hours . Food wasn't that great, garlic mash potatoes were cold, Danish baby back ribs were burnt, not planning on returning ."
