What Alice Wood likes about The New Inn:
It 's always a pleasure to eat here; the ambience is relaxed and friendly and the food excellent. We had 4 starters instead of mains, including whitebait, crab and salads. All delicious, inventive and well presented and portions a good size. My lunch companion enjoyed the Rosie 's cider and house red, but I was driving. Service is fine, but is probably the least good part of what I think is an excellent find. read more.

We were a table for 2, both of which had returned to have Sunday dinners, both had excellent fryinges lunch a few weeks before. Unfortunately it was on the 15th January average. The meat (bef and lamb) was over boiled and hard, the Yorkshire puddings flat and the vegetables over boiled. However, it was well flavored and the service was good. read more.
