We have been coming to the Pine Tavern for years. We had seating on the terrace and the temperature. was perfect with a slight breeze. We were a group of 6 people. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered one of the specials from the Newport Restaurant Menu. The salmon was dry and there was only 1 shrimp on the plate. There was NO scampi sauce at all! Definitely not worth the money! View all feedback.
This is my fourth vacation to Newport and I always stop off at this restaurant, it's become easily one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere is very calming,
Had a reservation for dinner and I'm glad we did because there was a wait.
We came here for dinner based on a friend's recommendation and the Yelp reviews I love the decor upstairs - very open and clean.
We could sit outside on the patio and just had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the people were friendly and attentive. It seems that they remodeled it and it looks better than ever
