Nice quiet place in Kiln creek. Typical Italian food with some steak options as well. Extensive wine list. We went for Valentine's day and had reservations. They were a little busy but the wait was not bad for the table or the food. Would definitely try it again. View all feedback.

"NEW! Filet Shrimp Toscana was a rip off and terrible. "filet" must just be an adjective not an actual cut of meat because what I got was comparable to hamburger meat and a whopping 3 pieces. the kids meal Cheese Ravioli Tomato Sauce was also shockingly overpriced. a whole 4 ravioli but my kid did love it."

"Booked the banquet room yesterday for my son’s first birthday and it was the best decision I ever made! The pizza and wings were fantastic and the service was phenomenal. It was so nice to be able to sit back and enjoy the party without the added stress of hosting. Schooners has always been my favorite restaurant but now I love it even more!"

"Went with friends and the ambiance of the place was cozy and welcoming. Our server was very courteous and stellar when it came to service. We started with some mango mai tai and their classic thai tea in which both were delicious. We then ordered some fried tofu that included some nice sour sauce with crushed peanuts. However, the calamari we ordered were obviously the kind you get that?s already pre-made and frozen so that was a bit disappointing. Our entreé?s were the pad thai and their chef?s special Spicy Chicken which were delicious. The pad thai serving was on the smaller side and we?d prefer the bean spouts to not be as overcooked but it was decent. Then the spicy chicken was good flavor-wise but the breading was a lot thicker than the actual piece of meat and the bowl of jasmine rice included was a small scoop amount. Overall serving sizes fall on the smaller spectrum but the taste was pretty decent."

"Fantastic Italian Fare!!. Vinny's became our regular Friday night eating spot 3-4 years ago. Located in an unassuming former Pizza Hut turned Hawaiian Ice restaurant, it's one of Newport News' best kept secrets. Their pizza is great, but my favorite is their strombolis, and their chicken cheesesteaks. Honestly, I've never once been disappointed there. Between the staff and the food, it's always a treat!!"

"I arrived at 830pm and was searched and charged a $10 cover charge per person. I was unaware that this sports bar turns into a very loud, very dark club. Lights turned off around 9pm. When I asked if pay per view fights were being showed, I was told yes at the door. They only showed the prelims, then put on football. Service was iffy, food was ok. If you want an actual sports bar aft 8pm on a saturday, go elsewhere."
