"Great staff, great food. We had the garlic bread to start, then the chicken burger and beef burger as a main, I'll be honest I thought the look of the sides were a bit small but i was definitely stuffed. A little while later we shared the waffle desert, oh my! Is all that comes to mind. The food was so yummy and the staff so friendly and efficient. We had a great time in Ballini's. Oh and it was very reasonable. We were very happy customers and will be back. We finally re-visited. This was disappointing! The waiter didn't take our order down correctly then the staff were getting rude when we had to send it back twice. They then forgot the sauce we had ordered, when I asked, they were again not polite. When the sauce finally arrived it was lumpy. The meat/chicken on our burgers were great, but the baps were burnt, we didn't chance sending them back. The last time we visited (just 5 short months ago) we spent £80 in total and 3-4 hours enjoying the atmosphere and staff. This time we were so disappointed we barely spent £25 and stayed less than an hour."

"Sister and I went for the Steak Night on Friday 18.06.2021 and the steaks and accompanying dishes were amazing. I had the fillet medium, and sister had sirloin medium so so yummy. Service was exemplary, and staff so so friendly a credit to the wonderful owners and hosts Pauline and Harry who really do go beyond the extra mile in ensuring all their guests feel welcome and well fed in a lovely historic environment.
