"Highly recommend this pub , visited tonight very welcoming , excellent service , very efficient, lovely menu and food was fab, we had the lamb , chicken and fish dishes and all were very tasty . The sharing Brie and the mushrooms as starters were also excellent . Wine was lovely too , great value for money . If your in the area definitely recommend you visit, you won’t be disappointed."

"Very nice restaurant. I ordered from the early bird menu, 3 courses for £19.95. The set menu is quite short, but has an option for most tastes.I had the Salmon and Dill fishcake starter, which was very good. The fishcake may have been slightly over done, but the vinaigrette on the salad was incredibly tasty.My main was the Spicy Chicken Salad, which had much more chicken than I expected, I'm not so into anchovies, but they were okay in the salad.For dessert I had the White Chocolate Brulee, it was amazing and had that signature crack to get through the top of the Brulee.Our waitress was incredibly professional and attentive. I would happily come back to The Granary on my next visit to Newtown."

"I have used this Chip Shop several times and last year it wasn’t very good but it has recently changed hands. The service and food is now excellent. I don’t normally eat mushy peas but they have Home made mushy peas and they were a nice colour and flavour. The cod was cooked fresh and again a good texture. The chips were really nice. Not greasy at all. They offer vegetarian options too. I used the online ordering option and it was ready to pick up quite quickly. The new staff are helpful and friendly. If you haven’t been for a while its definitely worth returning. Vegetarian options: We had the veggie nuggets but they have have veggie burgers and Halloumi too. Kid-friendliness: Several food choices for children."
