My regular lunch spot in Newtown, the prawn omelette was my fav until I discovered the fish burger. Will take a photo of the burger next time.

Today I had the BEST tumeric latte EVER at Baobab! And my spinach and avocado looked like a turtle! It was so cute : made my day!  Looooove Baobab :

"We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. "Terrible service arrived 5 minutes early to the booking at 8pm and table was not ready so we had to go outside and wait. there was a 55 minute wait on the mains and 40 minute wait on dessert by the time we had finished it was past 10pm. food was great but wasn't at all worth the wait. the bill was super expensive and we felt ripped off. we ended up feeling very disappointed and let down, as we were looking forward to going to a nice restaurant. ive previously worked in hospitality and id be really embarrassed making patrons wait more than an hour for food. not on the wait staff but a pretty bad reflection on management. apart from this, serivce was friendly and drinks were good just a shame that the massive wait times put a damper on the night."

"An amazing boardgame cafe/restaurant. Been there a couple of times (once on a double date and the second time with my boardgame savvy 4 yo). A lot of boardgames, nice selection. We enjoyed the chicken burger but the venison burger was quite dry. I can see us returning many times in the future."

"It was such an amazing place to eat at and I always loved the steak n chips n salad but I recently went back to the place n I had the same meal I always did get the steak n it was pounded out n flat n the cooks were saying or joking around saying idk what I am doing... I think now the beautiful thick steak yummy as it was now is just flat n pounded but the customer service is very good but the food is now ok but don't really wanna pay $25 for a small pounded steak.. n very olily garden salad"
