Very special burger in this place. The choice for me is the organic fuel. The C n cheese is also a great option. Perfect soft and crispy rolls, wonderful meat pattie and such a tasty mayo and tomato sauce. The fries are really good too.
This place is also all about environmentally friendly food, so I get a good feeling every time I eat here. View all feedback.
What Shayna Lemke doesn't like about BurgerFuel:
If you're looking for burgers that are on the healthier side, this is the place for you. Don't expect the typical greasy beef and American cheese burgers here, these are more of the gourmet type. The fries and aioli are just average. View all feedback.
Came here to try a burger called The BastardThe name alone got me.
Checking out the menu and some review from Sydney best yelper, (not forgetting to mention also free burger of my choice from yelp) I decided to come and
Nice burgers if you're feeling relatively healthy - don't expect the greasy beef and American cheese style, more the "gourmet" type. The potato variety is average, as is the aioli.
Located at the corner of King Street and Watkin Street, Burger Fuel is a contemporary burger joint which offers a range of made-to-order, quirky-named gourmet burgers. The outlet in Newtown was one of the 80 odd internationally. I ordered Cornflake Charger, a huge burger comprising crispy fried cornflake chicken cooked in duck fat and accompanied with streaky bacon, cheddar, truffle aioli, salad and relish. Like most of the burgers in Sydney, the cornflake chicken patty was over fried and the texture is hard whereas cheddar cheese was not melted as advertised. It's so ordinary that it is not worth any second trip.
Ahhhhh so excited to see this NZ burger chain in Australia! Quality and taste is just like in NZ! They even sell L&P! I can't go past the C N Cheese burger and chips with the aioli dip!
