"We were looking for somewhere in Ballyclare for lunch and happened across Brown's and delighted that we did! Lovely food and very friendly staff. 4 adults and a toddler and all really enjoyed their meal. Poached egg with avocado on sourdough toast was amazing."

"Had a wonderful meal here recently. the aromen and combinations were fantastic. we had a cashew, methi-style pornstar and a corma pornstar. both were amazing as the next-courts and the popadoms. I eat here and abroad a lot of Indian food and found this one of the best I have eaten so far. the it area above is quite atmospheric and I found the staff quiet and somewhat slow, but eating was all we were interested. they have an early bird special I found to have limited dishes on my taste. "So happy to find a local pizza joint selling the right vegan pizza! faster service, even if the place was busy ordering vegan cheese garlic brot and a vegan pizza with spinat, tomato and pine nuts and let me say - they have not held back on the cheese! "The hotel itself is beautiful, beautiful building and decor, the staff was beautiful, but for the price I expected more in terms of food, it was nice, but nothing from the ordinary. The gluten-free sandwiches were however unedible the bread was like cured wetabix, I would recommend changing your supplier"

"Went to this venue with a few friends having seen it was rated #1 in the local area. Food I got a tomahawk steak with all the usual extras. It was decent. Best steak I’ve had, no, but was cooked well. Sauce didn’t blow me away. Main itself was good but not mind blowing. Got sticky toffee for dessert and again, it was good, but not overwhelming. Service we had to prompt the staff to ask for dessert which wasn’t ideal. Atmosphere they had a live singer. He was decent but didn’t really add any real value to the experience. Overall A decent enough venue with above average food. Is it worthy of the best restaurant in the town. Probably not. Would recommend for casual dining but for a special occasion I’d venture elsewhere"
