"Huge portions of soup, and so very delicious! Along with the best, most amazingly flavored hot teas (honey ginger lemon kumquat), the Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso made for the perfect meals on a chilly winter day. And of course, as always, the cold bubble teas were a yummy treat. We apos;ll definitely order again...and again...and again!"

"Came in for lunch with my brother. We were seated right away. Table was nicely set up and utensils were clean. My husband is Vietnamese (and I've travelled through Vietnam north to south), so I know Vietnamese food and I must say, this place is great! I had their Bun Bo Hue and my brother had their Pho Bo. We shared their fresh rolls start and the peanut sauce was great. Everything was yummy! Cảm ơn! Ngon quá!"

"I ordered chicken lo mein with extra shrimp and beef $4.00 each item extra). Took me 10 min for then to get my order straight after speaking to two people .. which was fine…. But in the end my order was such a disappointment. I asked for it to be extra extra spicy and not watery and with certain vegetables to be on it. I’m new to the falls and was trying to find a place similar to Nanking in st. Catharine’s … anyways I feel they missed the mark big time … there was no flavour, just very heavy liquid sauce which then turned into the whole dish within minutes of me eating .. very soggy and watery tasting. They gave me one extra small hot sauce package and one soy sauce And….. yup …. they charged me $27.00 for this. Indefinitely won’t be going here anymore and please I’ll ask Everyone if you want amazing Chinese food, and you can make it out to st. Catharine’s .. you have to try Nanking on Martindale Rd Huntington Plaza) which is open not like they tried to tell me they shut down which I thought was an odd comment. I have never been this disappointed with Chinese food before …. And then to be charged $27.00…… which I never complained .. paid the bill as I was hopeful this was the magic place I was looking for. So no! Epic failure and will never return!Jenny"

"Came here for lunch on a July Tuesday, as we wanted to support the new owners (this place used to be a pirate-themed restaurant for years). 2-9-5 (the telephone area code for Chippawa, in case you 're wondering) is now a convenience store, place where you can rent a U-Haul truck, and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We wanted to eat outside, so we went into the convenience store and ordered. The signature sandwiches come with fries and your choice of canned soda pop or seltzer water. You pay upfront and wait for your food to come out. They brought it out to us, as we were waiting outside. Leaving a tip (if you 're eating outside) is tricky, as the service is not true waitstaff (more like the person behind the counter running the tray out to you), and you pay before you get your meal. You never think to tip before you receive any service or food, and if you bus your own trays after, you don 't think to tip afterwards. The menu is limited: basically several varieties of chicken sandwiches, broasted chicken combo meals, some fried 'bar foods ' (onion rings/wings/fries/mozza sticks/pizza fingers etc) and fish chips. We ordered 4 chicken sandwich combos and it took about 20 minutes. We all got something different: a crispy chicken, a butter chicken, a crispy BBQ chicken and a mini savory chicken (the 'mini ' being about half the size of the others, possibly good for children or small appetites) The fries really were fantastic; super crispy but not overdone. I did find it odd that there appeared to be a full bar (liquor bottles behind the register) and that later, a group of 3 men came to sit outside with canned beer, but NO WHERE on the printed menus, large wall-mounted menu or anywhere else, was there any signage about alcoholic beverage being available (beer not being available in Canadian convenience store, but can be available in restaurants)"

"Had a res for 6pm on Wednesday. Ordered a stuffed chicken dish (Got recommended by the server), Kleftico (Lamb dish) and a martini called hypnotizer. Everthing was super delicious and especially the Kleftico was out of this world!!! So tender and the flavor was so complex. Everything on the plates were just amazing and I was so glad that I tried this place out! Would recommend this place to everyone I know! Also staff was super friendly, too Def coming back!"
