After a wonderful day in the harkness memorial park in the oktober I stopped at skippers, which is open all year. they are known for fast fun seafood tablets and many other possibilities. Great location and had good reviews but was disappointed with the food. Good news is that the portions were good sized and clam strips were pretty full. Bad news is the batter for fish and clam strips were pretty greasy. Also ordered the fried mushrooms which i would avoid at all costs next time, tasted freezer burnt and batter texture was very coarse and mealy. I had the fried skaloppsrolle, my man had the plate of the fischer. not cheap, but delicious. kid friendly, too, and ice cream.
