Le Paradis du Fruit - Nice

Found this restaurant whilst killing an hour waiting for my wife to emerge from her latest yoga session on a Nice rooftop. A lovely change from the standard pizza/steak/moules to be found all over Nice. Fresh salads with a creative twist. Interesting smoothies and attentive staff. All set in a perfect location for people watching. If you fancy a healthy lunch in a beautifully sunny spot for a reasonable price, Paradis du Fruit is certainly a good option. The waiting staff did forget a couple of our orders, but all in all, a lovely place to stop and watch the world go by.

Healthy fresh salads and smoothies, fruit energy shots and great service in the middle of the square of Place Girabaldi. Thought it would be a tourist trap due to the location but was very happily surprised. Definitely will go back.

Located in Garibaldi place. Menu is mix of sandwiches, salads and tapas type selection. We picked a couple of tapas plates each plus a side. Very good quality. Famous for smoothies – which did not disappoint. Service was very friendly on our first visit but on another visit we had a disinterested guy who wasn't that good. I would return but avoid his patch.

Warm and modern interior for non- smokers, courtyard seating in Place Garibaldi for smokers. Fresh local produce and all dishes made by hand from scratch with fresh ingredients with a large variety of dishes with a difference, due to Asian/ International influences. Great to have variety of fruit drinks and smoothies, including cocktails for happy hour, salads with curries, soups and more.

During our stay in Nice we went twice, once for lunch, once for dinner. We particularly enjoyed the fresh juices and lemonades (large choice!). My quinoa salad was a bit disappointing, but the curry and burgers were a hit. It's nice that they have a big terrace on place Garibaldi to sit outside in the sun (or in the shade of an umbrella). Service is quick an friendly.
