Had a separate 3 items vegan menu as well as a range of vegan arancini that could be made on request (including spinach, mushroom, other menu options minus meat and cheese). The staff knew what veganism was and specially selected dishes. The Arancini are deceptive and one is enough for a meal! View all feedback.
What Irene Sala doesn't like about Frittosu Sicilian Street Food:
We stayed at Nicolosi in this street food in the family and we ordered each for himself and at the end of what we ordered we received everything backwards and not talking that the food was salty!! Staff not attentive to masks and without gloves touching money and food. Well, what do you mean? Bad. Not recommended. View all feedback.
Mediocre orange. Staff working without gloves and mask. Riso scotto e sugo insapore e senza catne
Me and my family have tried the products of Frittosù fantastic oranges for taste and variety and really good crespelle, the best I tried with real rice and not flour. Friction made as a rule of crisp art but without excess fat.. local and staff really excellent a berry!
Special oranges. Also tried the orange of the month to the radicchio and provola, very tasty. Also good the calzone with wuerstel and crisps with ricotta or anchovies. Also the sweet oranges with honey. Boy at the bar very kind. Prices in standard. No toilets being a street food.

I found this place rather accidentally and was originally attracted by their nicely designed logo and such. Then I saw the word VEGAN on their menu and was even more interested (Nicolosi is a tiny place in Sicily and I hadn't expected to find a vegan specific menu item). I had been hoping to get my hands on vegan arancini somewhere in Sicily but had been unsuccessful up until then. The staff was super friendly, spoke English and went through all the vegan options with me. Since they didn't have any vegan arancini ready-made, the cook made them fresh for me with vegan cheese. I tried a spinach and a mushroom arancino. They were some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The crispy deep-fried outside, saffron flavored rice, and a creamy cheezy mushroom/spinach filling. I asked them to please open up a store in Berlin. They laughed and said that many people have been making the same request... One arancino is a meal and will cost you only 3 Euro.
