Simple food in the Alm in a magnificent sunfall approx. 100M below the crane horn. Recommend the soups, mmm! Big children play area and animals. We went all the way to / from Erl and the first 45min on the road, which is steep and not too busy, but crazy to the top all the more of a challange. "A Great country-style Steak/Chop/Game grill in a beautiful setting in Upper Bavaria. Servers present a raw array of exotic cuts from which to choose which are then grilled on the earthen hearth located in the dining room. A fantastic German salad is also available (in 2 sizes) for those who don't do the meat thing. We brought some serious wine with us but also enjoyed the local strong Dunkel Weissbock beer pictured. They do a wonderful job here. Can't wait to return!"
