"I was there with my partner and some friends. The experience was initially a bit strange. As we entered the room the waitress was awkwardly silent, but right after handing us the menu, thing got really fun. We had some jokes and a lot fund with the waitress and enjoyed one of the best cordon bleu we ever had. Due to the fact that it was witbter and dark outside, we didn't get ro enjoy the view, but surely coming by again for another great dinner with view. The location is a bit iff, but definitely worth the trip. Combined with a small hike, this is a great place for dinner or lunch."

"It's simple! Whenever we have friends visiting from abroad, we always reserve at least one meal at the Johannisburg. It's a must. We naturally also visit in between whether for a lunch, an apero, a dessert, a coffee,...no matter the reason or the occasion, we always eat very well, the staff is attentive the view from the outdoor terrace is the cherry on the cake. Worthwhile discovering, or rediscovering, especially on a beautiful clear day. That says it all!"

"Baked fish (pike perch or trout with almonds is the best i have tried in switzerland. other lake fish varieties are also very good. their menu includes also other swis traditional specialities (rösti with fired eggs, sausages... of good quality the service is generally polite,...however some of the waitress could improve. prices are reasonable and kitchen is open since early in the morning till 11 pm. their summer terrasse offers nice views of the lake, specially at sunset. large outisde carpark at the front."
