Bought a bunch of peanut covered caramel apples today. I already ate three, they all were fresh and great. All the apples I've purchased in the Mariano's close by on Waukegan Rd. also were fresh as well. I think it's key to purchase apples that have a good expiration date and stored in a cool environment (both by the store and yourself).
