"It feels like you are coming into Dan and Caitlin's home when you come here. They are very wonderful hosts, and you are greeted warmly when you come in the door. They are the only place in town to get a latte or espresso. They also have ice cream in the summer, which is perfect if you're going to the park. They have a great location right downtown beside the Thrift Shop, Museum and Paddle to the Sea Park and splash pad. The food is different here - not for everyone - but if you want something different or if you are vegetarian this is the place to eat in Nipigon. They are also a bakery - their fresh buns and ginger cookies are my favourites. They also sell local art, coffee, and souvenirs which is cool. Dan is an avid rock climber so if you want recommendations about where to climb in the area, ask him!"

"We made a stop at this restaurant for take-out lunch during our road trip to Thunder Bay back in summer 2020. I kept telling myself to write a review for them when I got back home but ended up forgetting until now when I am about to make another long road trip. This restaurant was pretty decent given the location. They gave big portion, and the owner was quite friendly. To us, their food definitely helped with our cravings for Chinese cuisine after many days of backcountry camping between Michipicoten and Thunder Bay."

"Ducky's Diner, you had me at 2 PLY TOILET PAPER!! I didn't eat in a local restaurant that felt so welcomed. We felt like we were eating at a family meeting. Good. The best food for your hard-earned money!! The waitress/hole made sure we enjoy every bite. Without pushing them into bed. The portions were enough for us to travel our remaining 5 hours of OHNE, who stop eating or even reach for these Munchies. The food is uniquely named and very delicious. If you are looking for something outstanding, you need to see STOP and Ducky's Diner for yourself!"

"We were staying in the town and decided to eat at Husky because we have eaten at other Husky over the years. We were disappointed in the Swiss Mushroom Burger and Fries. The Turkey dinner special was OK the soup was very good.. What really...upset us they asked if we wanted gravy on the mashed potatoes and we said yes. When we got the bill we mentioned that we got charged wrong for the turkey dinner special and they said that we had to pay for the gravy on the mashed potatoes. This was a first for us. We would not eat here again"
