For our anniversary, we wanted something special that we hadn 't done before so we went to Cafe Miro (in Kaimuki) all the way over the mountain from our home in Kailua. It was worth the trip. We had the plaisir menu ... two appetizers, an entree and dessert. We were surprised with a complimentary vichysoisse (I guess an amuse bouche, but it was an ample serving). What User doesn't like about Courtyard Cafe:
OK food, but not for the prices they charge. Foie gras was excellent. The rest of the meal meh. Service was not good at all. Particularly for a supposed five star restaurant. Got the prix fixe menus. After dinner, they promptly delivered the check. We asked what happened to the desest. Oh, I 'll put that order in. A half hour later, and the wine consumed, we finally got desert. We came and celebrated Anniversary 41 Joseph treated us well. Chef made a nice Vegetarian Menu for Lehua and I enjoyed regular menu with Dover Sole See you Soon
