"What a great cafe to visit whilst in Alkmaar! Such a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The food and drink was truly excellent. Really friendly and welcoming staff, all of whom spoke excellent English. They cafe is very accommodating and accepting of families however this is no way affects the overall chilled vibe De Koffiemolen offers in its beautiful surroundings. A must visit whilst in Alkmaar, we will definitely be back, thank you."

"We came to this fantastic restaurant unplanned and were very lucky to get the last seat for two at half past five without a reservation. It was poetry, from the warm service to the fabulous cuisine. We haven't eaten such deliciously prepared fish in a long time. The taste combination was very successful. Our visit was an absolute highlight. Highly recommended!
