I had a spectacular wine tasting here. all organic wines, tasting in spiegelau glasses, beautiful explanation of the weine. all weine were excellent, show great qualities in wine making. many of the weeping mature and drink beautifully now. Although the weeping are a bit expensive, I think this is some of the best weeping in South Africa. but for the experienced palate. View all feedback.

If you pass in Paarl, then I would definitely recommend stopping at the Avondale winery. Wine tasting is a great experience for South African wine

"The fine dining experience was to die for. We had a 4 course menu for our anniversary. The service is impeccable. However, we ended our dinner with poor candle lighting after load shedding hit. I only wish they could devise a better option for lighting in case power goes out. Otherwise, the food and service was just on point!"

"What an experience, we were treated to a cycle around the vine yards, with some history, then a wine tasting with a tour of the distillery, then on to lunch, which was amazing, staff very attentive wish I could visit every week, beautiful surroundings, its a must visit if your in South Africa"

"An absolutely stunning meal. Thank you and well done Chef. The meal was everything you expect from a fine dining experience. Portions for starters and mains plus all the little extras we're perfect and an excellent Chenin Amina ensured a wonderful experience. The lovely garden and mountain views along with friendly staff, completed our happy outing to Faber. Highly recommended"
