"Attentive service, lovely food, excellent wine an idyllic experience is on your doorstep Paarl seems like it might be a great trek. However we were pleasantly surprised to be rewarded with an idyllic escape after a 40 minute journey out of Cape Town. Service was superlative and the restaurant is a run attentively and unobtrusively. The menu was delightful with foraged items being used excellently, beautifully and tastily in a garden setting with a wonderful landscape to crown it all. Portions were generous and the wine is incredible."

The food was great, they do the best sandwiches and the setting was amazing too! <br/ <br/ I would have rated them a 5 but I did find the service to be a bit on the slow side, our waitress wasn't too attentive. Other than that you can't go wrong! It was definitely worth the 40 min drive out for lunch"
