My husband and I go to The Beach Challet on a regular basis. The food is always amazing (Ivan makes the best scrambled eggs in town), the coffee is top quality and I am a self-professed coffee snob since living in Melbourne where the coffee is the best in the country. Good coffee and hamburgers - not Maccas at this hidden little gem in Sunrise beach.It is hidden on the front and really only used by locals and people staying at the units along the way.Ivan etc have a varying attitude if the surf is up - they may be there.Cant think of a nicer spot for whale watching though.
