I went to this restaurant alone during a business trip completely inspired by the reviews. Maybe my expectations were too high but I was not impressed. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance and with all the Japanese eating there it felt really nice. I ordered...only the mixed sashimi since I was not too hungry and it was one of the most expensive I bought at around for pieces (it was the lowest of qualities still).... View all feedback.
Good quality and authentic, but so far absolutely overpriced. A few pieces of Sashimi for over 30€ not with rice and a small part of rice is 3.50€.
We made reservations for our 3 people family and were put in the back, a kind of dining room that had no atmosphere at all. Looks more like a canteen room. They charge € 6,00 per piece of sushi that I find extremely high. We ordered the mixed Sashimi board containing 3 pieces of tuna, 3x salmon, 3x white fish (I believe swordfish) and 3 small strips of Squid....Price: € 32, The sashimi was approx. served 20 minutes after the order. The sushi took them more than an hour. At a certain point the waitress told us (after we have to check with her) that it will take another 15 minutes, but after 15 minutes the so-called manager told us that it would take another 20 minutes. We were hungry and so fed with this bad performance, we decided to go and asked for the bill. The manager who did not really understand German or English even insisted that we also paid for the beer (0.5 liters), of which I had only a few sips. The manager even tried to comfort us by telling us that they had many sushi orders and everyone in the restaurant was waiting very long....can you imagine. Very dissapointing experience and I will never return or recommend to friends or business relatives. Recommendations: 1. If the orders last considerably longer than usual, inform your customers at the time of order, they can decide whether to wait or not. 2. Make someone who understands the native language clearly, or at least understands English.

The restaurant has an amazing ambiance and with all the Japanese eating there it felt really nice. I ordered only the mixed sashimi since I was not too hungry and it was one of the most expensive I bought at around 26€ for 12 pieces (it was the lowest of 3 qualities still). However, it was not nearly the best I have tried. I did not have the chance to try other dishes so cannot judge the rest, but I was really heartbroken since I was expecting a different experience. Important: This restaurant does not accept credit cards so get some cash.
Ich habe zweimal zum Mittagessen, jeweils um 13:00 Uhr bis 13:30 Uhr, dieses Restaurant besucht und sowohl das Sushi Set als auch das halbe Menü waren bereits ausverkauft. Das heißt...
What we ordered: Jyo Sushi We enjoyed it but would order individually next time. What we loved was the chu toro nigiri, the Buta-ebi nigiri and...
