after eight years again visited. they make beer in the restaurant that they can see and understand is decades old, if not centuries old. they put a coaster and each beer is a line. the lines are counted at the end as an annual bill. they exchange the glasses as fast as they are emptied. bier is very tasty. must visit in düsseldorf. What Reiner Bauer doesn't like about Kreuzherreneck:
the salmiakki is cult. for me, the sticky paint-paintings were nothing. the prices are moderate, the waiter is nice. but who expects "cool drinks" and great cocktails, is looking for it in vain. View all feedback.
Beautiful and traditional bar. U can meet there a lot of local peoples. The shots are great. U should definitely try the shot which is called..
Great bar! The service is friendly and the prices are alright considering this is in Düsseldorf Altstadt. Always have a great time there
Pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Old Town my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Kreuzherren Eck ,a great pub that on any trip to Dusseldorf I take I always look forward to visiting. This pub looks superb, an authentic traditional...interior, dark wood panelled walls, great vintage decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub,its a classic Dusseldorf kneipe. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Sunday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us an Altbier each,we chose Frankenheim Altbier, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was really good, Dusseldorf is justifiably famous for its amazing range of Altbier's and Frankenheim Altbier is superb, a dark, malty beer that when served iced cold as in this pub is such a refreshing beer. These are the type of pubs that bring me back to Dusseldorf year after year, proper locals pubs with character and filled with characters. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Kreuzherren Eck is easy to locate along Altestadt in the wonderful Old Town, its only a minute from the beautiful Kreuzherrenkirche. Opening hours are; Monday to till Friday Saturday, till Sunday, till A fantastic old school pub ,well worth a visit if your in the area

Went here on a pub crawl. Arrived and a gentleman after realizing I only spoke English showed me how to order. He screamed PILSNER!!! and sure enough small beers appeared a minute later. Other customers reacted as if this was normal. Great pub. I...appreciated the sideways Christmas tree on the wall
